“LOVE HURTS” Exhibition Arrives at Atelier Veneno in Bonn — Vernissage Scheduled for December

Atelier Veneno, located at Breite Straße 74, 53111 Bonn, will host the “LOVE HURTS” exhibition starting December 6, 2025. The show brings together approximately 50 tattoo artists exploring the theme of love through diverse visual perspectives. The exhibition will open with a special vernissage at 18:00, celebrating the arrival of this expressive collection of works to Bonn’s contemporary art scene. The show will remain on view until the end of the year.

Tattooing, with its own language, codes, and symbolic power, is presented here as a legitimate medium of contemporary artistic expression. “LOVE HURTS” highlights how love — in all its forms, pains, joys, and contradictions — can be translated into graphic narrative, gesture, and aesthetic. Each artist offers a unique interpretation, connected to the zeitgeist and to the body as a cultural canvas.

Ravensburg as the First Stop

Before arriving in Bonn, “LOVE HURTS” premieres in Ravensburg on November 21, 2025, from 18:00 to 22:00, at @blckrnowttt (Herrenstraße 5, 88212 Ravensburg), as part of the @_freitagsimnovember program.

The opening in Ravensburg will feature:

The Ravensburg event marks the official launch of the exhibition tour, shaped by the communal spirit of the local tattoo scene and the ongoing dialogue between art, culture, and the human body.

About the Artist — Mica One

The exhibition is curated by Mica One. Mica One is a German multidisciplinary visual artist based in Ravensburg. He works in various styles and techniques such as classic painting, graffiti and tattooing.
