Born from a journey that began in a ghetto of Brazil’s capital at the end of a military dictatorship — a time of cultural upheaval and creative chaos — Atelier Veneno emerged in 2024. It is the product of a land where diverse cultures collided — often violently: Indigenous peoples, European colonizers, enslaved Africans, Japanese immigrants, and many others who found their final home in Brazil.
Atelier Veneno is the result of a rich, intense, and combative path. Now located on the most charming street in Bonn, Germany, it represents the creative expression of a dream fueled by struggle and the hope for brighter days.
Beyond offering technical excellence, the studio also aims to bring cultural richness and diversity to the Bonn community and to new artists — especially those dedicated to tattooing.
